Susan was appointed the President and CEO of Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan (LGS) effective Sept. 1, 2023. Susan has more than two decades of leadership, expertise and experience in the gaming industry, including eight years as President and CEO of the Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation (SaskGaming), which is now a wholly owned subsidiary of LGS. During her more than 20 years with SaskGaming, Susan also served as Vice President of Marketing, Chief Marketing Officer, Director of Marketing, and Director of Player Relations. Before joining SaskGaming, she held positions at the Saskatchewan Transportation Company, Crown Investments Corporation, and Crown Life Canada. Susan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina, a Certificate in Human Resource Planning from Queens University and is a Chartered Director (ICD.D) from the Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan. Cammy Colpitts has more than two decades of experience in government and is part of the team that helped establish Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan (LGS), working to consolidate conduct and management of gaming in the province. Prior to LGS, Cammy has held multiple roles in government, including Senior Advisor to the President at Crown Investments Corporation, Assistant Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Trade and Export Development as well as senior executive positions in Agriculture, Social Services, and Executive Council – Intergovernmental Affairs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science, with a minor in economics, from the University of Regina as well as a Masters in Public Administration from the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy. Travis Massier is responsible for and has oversight over all financial matters related to Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan (LGS), with a focus on transparency, accountability and innovation. He has worked in the financial field with the province for two decades, as well as Mosaic. Before he joined LGS, he was the Executive Director of Performance Management and Financial Analysis at Crown Investments Corporation (CIC), and as a Corporate Controller at CIC. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a certificate in economics from the University of Regina, as well as his CPA professional designations. Steve has more than 20 years of marketing and business experience in both the public and private sectors. He joined SaskGaming in 2010 as Director of Marketing and held that role until 2014 when he moved to SaskTel as Director of Corporate Sales. Steve rejoined SaskGaming in April 2019 as Vice President of Marketing. His portfolio expanded to include Strategic Planning in January 2019, and Communications and Online Gaming in September 2021. Steve was one of the first appointments to LGS in early 2023, joining Saskatchewan’s newest Crown corporation as Vice President of Gaming. He holds a Bachelor of Physical Activity Studies from the University of Regina, as well as an Advanced Graduate Diploma and MBA from Athabasca University. Steve is also a Certified Management Consultant. Alan Fern started his legal career as a criminal prosecutor with the Ministry of Justice in Meadow Lake before moving to Regina to join the Civil Law branch at the Ministry of Justice as a civil litigator. From there Alan spent over ten years at Crown Investments Corporation of Saskatchewan (CIC), the holding company for Saskatchewan’s commercial Crown corporations. During his tenure at CIC, Alan had the opportunity to work regularly with SaskPower, SaskEnergy, SGI, SaskWater, Saskatchewan Transportation Company (STC), Saskatchewan Opportunities Corporation (SOCO) and SaskGaming on a wide range of legal and business issues. Alan became CIC’s General Counsel in 2020, sat on numerous boards and was the corporate secretary for the CIC Board of Directors. In September of 2024 Alan joined LGS as General Counsel. Alan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy), a Master’s degree (Philosophy), and a Juris Doctor in Law from the University of Saskatchewan. In addition, Alan holds a Diploma in Nuclear Law from the University of Montpellier, France.
